General.
Journal of Plant Protection Research (recommended abbreviation: J. Plant Protection Res.) accepts only original papers covering the fundamental and applied studies of pests, pathogens and weeds noxious to agricultural crops. Articles for publication written in good English should be submitted by filling the form on JPPR homepage (www.plantprotection.pl) and attaching text written in RTF file format, or by e-mail to

The manuscript should not exceed 15 pages (including tables, figures and references) with the following sequence: Title (with the running title attached at the end of the manuscript), Name(s), Postal and e-mail address of the author(s), Abstract, Key words, INTRODUCTION, MATERIALS AND METHODS, RESULTS, DISCUSSION, ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS, REFERENCES, POLISH SUMMARY (with Polish title).

The POLISH SUMMARY can be prepared by JPPR Editorial Office.
Text.
Text should be written in A4 format page with “Times New Roman” font, 12 pt, one and a half spaced with all 2.5 cm margins.
Tables.
Tables should be self explanatory with 10 pt minimum text. Tables and drawings should be placed outside of the text as they shall be correctly arranged by the publisher.
Photographs and drawings (bitmaps).
Photographs and bitmap drawings must have no less than 300 dpi resolution so if they should occupy text column width (12.5 cm) they must have at least 1500 pixels width.
Graphs.
Graphs should be provided in MS Excel format and stored with original MS Excel data file without captions but with number of figure attached.
Captions and legends to all figures (photographs, drawings and graphs).
Captions and legends should be placed outside of text in separate RTF file, refered to “Fig.” and numbered consecutively throughout the paper.
References.
References (in according with alphabetical) order should be set in out as follows using the generally accepted abbreviations for the names of periodicals:

Names of organisms and units.
Names of organisms (written in italic) should be given as the most recent scientific binominal with authority at first mention and later with generic name abbreviated. Use ISO/SI units and official abbreviations.
