Journal of Plant Protection Research (JPPR) is published by Institute of Plant Protection – National Research institute, Polish Academy of Sciences - Committee of Plant Protection and Polish Society of Plant Protection. This journal is a continuation of Prace Naukowe Instytutu Ochrony Roślin and Annals of Agricultural Sciences - Series E - Plant Protection.

JPPR accepts original research papers, short communications and invited reviews dealing with entomology and applied zoology, phytopathology, herbology, plant protection technique, and ecological implications of biological, chemical and integrated plant protection methods.

JPPR is included into Master Journal List ISI Database and Index Copernicus Database. Moreover the JPPR is abstracted in Agris, Agro, Agricola, Bibliographie der Pflanzenschutzliteratur, BIOSIS, CABI Abstracts, Polish Scientific Journal Contents, Index Copernicus and Thomson Scientific.
