Editor-in-Chief: Prof. Jolanta Kowalska, Institute of Plant Protection – National Research Institute, Poznań, Poland

The Journal of Plant Protection Research (JPPR) is a peer-reviewed international journal that publishes original papers dealing with basic and applied research, communications and reviews on all aspects of plant protection. Its scope includes all measures and treatments aimed at reducing pests, including biological and non-chemical plant protection methods and other elements useful in plant production, also in the context of sustainable development and organic plant production. Subjects covered in the journal include: virology, bacteriology, mycology, nematology, entomology, and herbology. We also encourage the publication of articles related to research based on precision agricultural techniques used to protect crops and increase biodiversity in a sustainable environment. The journal publishes interdisciplinary papers with a global perspective on the use of plants and yield protection in integrated and organic pest management systems, and related developments in molecular biology and biotechnology that have direct relevance.

Since 2018 the Journal is published in cooperation with Committee on Agronomic Sciences of the Polish Academy of Sciences. Starting from 2018 JPPR articles are also available on Polish Academy of Sciences website: http://journals.pan.pl/jppr
